WICKED#5 proved to be a successful show despite the uncertain circumstances leading up to the event. Here are some of the highlights and consequences of the Show.
1) Sam Xayachack is indeed still missing, and Lady Munin addressed the production team at the top of the show to assert her position as the sole proprietor of Pure Amusement Wrestling. Her first order of business after the event was to take a good look at the rules and regulations of the organization, and make some changes that would allow for a more creative base for the Roster to play in. It's been a turbulent road, but now that there is a clear direction, hopefully things will begin to settle down, and PAW will be able to continue in it's success.
2) Cross Recoba's injuries at the hand of Press were pretty extensive, leading to him being put on the injury list for future PAW dates. There has been no word, as of yet, whether Press will be faced with any consequences following the show. There are rumors that Cross will still have some role on the WICKED DVD's while he is out, but that role has yet to be determined.
3) 'Hungry' Jack Swanson's interference in the Cleaning House Battle Royal was an unplanned delight for the fans of PAW. Little could anyone know, that it would directly lead to one of the more anticipated match-ups at the PAW St. Patrick's Day Super Show, Luke Knux v.s. Jack Swanson in the first ever PAW Last Man Standing Food Fight. This one is guaranteed to leave the fans satisfied, if not a little hungry, pun intended.
4) Concerning the Cleaning House Battle Royal, Levi Adams, RedRum, Thaddeus Archelaus, and KJ Kidd have all been released from the company due to their eliminations. We here at PAW wish them well in their future endeavors, and want to remind them that there may still be need in the future for their services.
5) Despite the Noose being banned in the organization, Stevie Harris, and his subordinate, Lola, insisted on bringing the deadly instrument into play. Realizing that this might happen, Lady Munin approved 4Loco the use of extra security detail to deal with any situations that might arise, thus the Kennar Police Departments involvement at the end of the Harris v.s. Cross match. Stevie Harris has been fined $2500 for the attempt, and warned to keep the noose out of the arena.
6) Alex Cross, despite suffering an extensive leg injury in his match against Stevie Harris, has been cleared by the doctors to wrestle on St. Patrick's Day. He will be thrown into the mix for the Titan's of the Midway Championship, along with Calvin Harris and Johnny Raike.
7) Speaking of Calvin Harris, his dispute at the end of the Main Event of WICKED#5 with the man that was supposed to be his tag team partner for the evening, Tyler Keenan, spilled over into the backstage area after the cameras were off. The scuffle ended when a security team broke them up, and Tyler Keenan was escorted off the premises. The next day a heated discussion between Tyler Keenan and Lady Munin took place, and both ultimately decided that perhaps PAW and Tyler Keenan were just not a good fit. We wish Tyler Keenan well in all his future endeavors.
8) Kip Calhoun and Jamie Wheeler's absence from active duty has been noticed by many of the roster and fans alike. Due to circumstances of a legal nature, neither individual will be seen on PAW in the foreseeable future. Their contracts, however, are still instated, thus they will remain on the active roster until their business is sorted out.
9) The PAW Championship Tournament is almost at it's end, and we will finally find out who will take home the gold at the St. Patrick's Day Super Show. In a last minute decision, and to ensure that there will be a definitive winner, Lady Munin has decreed that this match will be No Disqualification, with No Count Outs or Time Limit. Furthermore, she has banned all other roster members not directly involved in the match, making this, truly, a one on one affair.
