SPECIAL HEAT STROKE PREVIEW
Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Airborne versus Alexandra Kelly versus Roy Baker versus Kelsey Spencer
Heat Stroke announced several more matches after WICKED#10, one of which was the Sixteen Man Battle Royal which will determine the #1 Contender to the Titans of the Midway Championship. The Battle Royal will feature some of the hot up and coming talent in PAW, and in a surprise move, Lady Munin signed four of those superstars in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match for WICKED#11! Alexandra Kelly has been making waves all across Pure Amusement Wrestling, racking up victories, and putting everyone in the locker room on notice. Roy Baker makes his debut here in PAW after signing a deal on a Ferris Wheel with Lady Munin, and many are looking forward to the Indy Star's first performance. Airborne, coming in off his debut match at WICKED#10, still has a lot to prove to PAW Management, but the fans are already getting behind the high flying extraordinaire. Kelsey Spencer comes in off of her second victory over Trixie last show, and one has to believe that a win here would give her a psychological edge over her opponents at Heat Stroke. Considering what happened the last time PAW hosted a Fatal Four Way, it's a safe bet to say that all the marbles are on the table, when WICKED invades Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Singles Match
Ava versus S.O.B.
Ava makes her debut here in front of the PAW Universe, as she takes on everyone's favorite disgruntled racist, S.O.B. As of late, the local PAW enhancement talent have found a new leader in Redrum, though at this point, it's unclear if any of them understand the demented clowns end goals. We're not even sure if Redrum knows his end goals. Either way, their antics as of late have been well documented with pantie stealing, and their inadvertent run ins causing disturbances throughout the shows. Ava, best known for her work in OWF, and as the longest reigning OWF Women's Champion, is more than ready to get her domestic name back out among the masses after an extensive schedule in Japan. Both superstars know how important a match like this can be, and a solid win for S.O.B. over a talented Superstar like Ava could really go far in proving that the Enhancement Talent deserves a larger spot on PAW. Despite his many talents, however, Ava is the favorite in this match, and we'll just have to see if the hype really is worth the wait, as WICKED#11 comes to us on May 26th.
Singles Match
Luke Knux versus Rufio
Luke Knux versus Rufio
Luke Knux makes his in ring return at WICKED#11 against one half of The Lost Boyz, Rufio, in singles competition. He had missed active competition for the past month due to nose injury at the hands of Jack Nomad. Luke got some measure of revenge on 'The Hardcore One' at WICKED#10, leaving most of us to believe that this isn't over between those two by a long shot. Could we be looking at a return match at Heat Stroke, and if so, will that finally settle the score. Rufio, on the other hand, comes into this match after deliberations with Lady Munin about the use of the Enhancement Talent. Redrum, their oddball leader, pushed that as many of his men get their shots as possible leading into this episode of WICKED. Some could say that the fact that three of his charges finding matches here tonight are in direct correlation to their entertaining backstage antics in recent weeks, but more than likely are given this push just to shut the deranged clown up. Either way, with Jack Nomad lurking around somewhere in the building, one has to wonder if Rurfio would even want to be anywhere near the Rock God right now. We'll have to wait and see what happens!
THE BOX OFFICE
Hosted by Cross Recoba
Special Guest: Johnathan Alexander and Tapioca Joe
Johnathan Alexander and Tapioca Joe, along with former GZW Star, William Saint, have had their trouble as of late out of the Globalsters. One has to wonder at this point if Tapioca Joe is already regretting his decision to get involved, when weeks ago he told Saint that he would have his back. Now, William Saint isn't even officially apart of PAW, his contract with GZW preventing him from doing so, yet the GZW Invading force haven't forgotten Joe's involvement, and seem to have no qualms transferring their aggressive tactics from Saint on to the wily veteran. Johnathan Alexander, being an old acquaintance of Joe's, felt the need to interject when John Champa and Joshua Dane tried to take Joe out at WICKED#9, resulting in receiving his own beat down at a GZW members hands last show. As the GZW numbers continue to increase, and the lack of PAW participation up to this date from the rest of the roster, with the exception of Johnny Raike, one has to wonder if Tapioca Joe and Johnathan Alexander haven't bitten off more than they can chew. We'll find that out, along with other answers, when Tap and John make an appearance on The Box Office with Cross Recoba. It would be a real surprise if we didn't see some sort of interference out of someone, as The Box Office has become a hot spot for people to get things off their chest, and even sometimes, to drop something onto someone else's. I guess we'll just have to wait to find out.
THE FIRST EVER PAW INTERFED HOSTED CONTEST
Singles Match
Nirvana versus James Radford
Nirvana, otherwise known as 'Papa Nurvy', is the owner of Strike Towers Wrestling, and has been touring the promotions he's affiliated with in order to scout new talent. PAW had reached out to the original carnie several times before, but he didn't finally take them up on it until last show at WICKED#10. After receiving the VIP treatment, and enjoying all the PAW entertainment, Nirvana decided that he would like to try his hand at some PAW action as well. It's rumored that he signed a two fight deal with Lady Munin, and this will be the first contest of the contract. 'Country Fine' James Radford has been working with Redrum as of late, the deranged clown taking the Enhancement Talent under his wing in order to try and help them get more ring time on the DVD Taping's. Something must be paying off with the cotton candy pantie sniffer, because not only is Radford making his debut here tonight, but his brother in arms, S.O.B. is as well. Will Papa Nurvy be impressed with the stripling, or will he make short work of the Tennessee dynamo? Will James Radford bring more than Nirvana bargained for? We'll have to find out, but our bet is always with the grizzly looking guy under a mask.
{MAIN EVENT}
Tag Match
Calvin Harris & CJ O'Donnell versus Johnny Raike & Press
The Main Event for Heat Stroke 2016 has been signed, sealed, and ready for mayhem, as CJ O'Donnell, the #1 contender, takes on Press, the PAW Heavyweight Champion, in an epic showdown in the Pure Arena. Subsequently, another match has formed for the event, or rather, three? Former Titans of the Midway Champion, Johnny Raike, challenges for the title he lost to Calvin Harris on WICKED#9, in a Three Stages of Hell Match. This time, however, more is on the line than just the Titans Championship, as the winner of this match will also be crowned the new #1 Contender to whoever wins the Main Event at Heat Stroke. All four of these men have centered around the PAW Heavyweight Championship ever since Press was first crowned, some of their ambitions dating as far back as the Tournament. With Stevie Harris now completely out of the way, it leaves room for all four to finally settle their differences, but FIRST, they have to get through a tag match at WICKED#11! It will be the first time that all four competitors have been in the ring at the same time, and it will be interesting to see if either team can truly get along long enough for a winner to be decided. It's well documented that Johnny Raike and Press have a history that dates back to their time in Evolution Wrestling, but since that time have garnered a mutual respect for one another. Calvin Harris and CJ O'Donnell, on the other hand, have not only traded blows, but words, before and after their epic encounter at WICKED#7. Finally, these four are on the verge of laying it all on the line at the biggest event of any of their careers, but one has to wonder if they'll even be able to make it after this encounter. Join us from Thibodaux, LA, at the Stopher Gym to find out!
