The shot opens to the woman also known as Blue Thunder, who seems to be filming her vlog somewhere within the amusement park.
“My name’s Kelsey. Kelsey Spencer. Not many of you knew that name, but I’m sure that’s changed. Ever since my debut at the Wicked #9 taping, people have been talking. Some of it’s been negative, but most of it’s not; almost everyone’s excited to see me here in Pure Amusement Wrestling.
I’ve only been here a short while, and I’ve already immersed myself in the atmosphere of the park -- I’ve been checking out the attractions, eating the cotton candy -- but the coolest thing I’ve been able to do is interact with the fans!”
A smile sweeps her face as she speaks about the people who fuel her desire to wrestle.
“I wanna say thanks to all of you for supporting me through thick and thin; you have no idea how much it means to me.
This week, I’m taking on someone I faced in my debut. Trixie, you know I’ve made it no secret that you’ve been a form of inspiration to me in PAW. I went back and bought every DVD, just to see what else you’d done here. I’m glad to see the respect was somewhat mutual, but I’m sure how I won that Fatal 4-Way has stuck in your craw ever since.
I pinned another competitor in the match; by the stipulations, that means you lost without ever being defeated. I know that’s always been a pet peeve of mine when it comes to these match types -- it’s unavoidable, and I’m certain you would’ve done the very same if you had the opportunity. The thing is, Trixie, that I’m not usually a fan of taking advantage of that kind of situation; I’d much rather best all of my opponents, and leave the ring without a shadow of a doubt that I was the best.
My only solace is I get a chance to rectify that, when I wrestle you one on one. I know you’re looking to avenge that loss -- and I can’t say I blame you -- but I simply can’t afford to lose here. I wanna be the best in this promotion, Trixie, and you’re standing in my way of doing just that. By beating you in that ring at Wicked #10, I can inch ever closer to the top of the PAW mountain."
She takes a deep breath, metaphorically breathing the thin air that comes with being at higher altitudes.
"I'm excited for this match; I can't wait to see what you bring to the table, Trixie -- and I can't wait to show you what I've learned since arriving here."
