WICKED#10 DVD EXTRA
AN HOUR AFTER THE SHOW - STOCK FOOTAGE FROM THE FRONT OF THE PARK
The voice is not familiar to fans of Pure Amusement Wrestling, but the scene is, just outside of Raike's kissing booth. The booth itself looks much different from last time we saw it, a larger area to accommodate more staff and a second floor having been added. As the camera pans we see Johnny Raike, booth manager Lydia, and a tall man with a severe haircut and an FBI jacket. Lydia keeps hers eye down to the ground, what little we see of her face telling a story of a women in a depressed mood. Johnny, dressed in a baggy tee-shirt and old jeans, has an arm around her, for all the good it's doing.
Johnny: “She's sure. They'll be here. Now you need to promise me that Lydia won't be implicated. Promise me.
Agent: “Sir, the FBI is not in the habit of making promises, but I will assure you that all due measures will be taken to ensure your girlfriend here is not implicated.
As one, Johnny and Lydia answer that's she not his girlfriend. Any other time this would have made them laugh, but neither seems in that kind of mood today.
Lydia: “I almost deserve it. Lola was always nice to me.”
Agent: “She was a lot less nice to many of the victims of Stevie Harris's cult. You're going to be saving a lot of people.”
Johnny: “I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I made you do this.”
At this Lydia shoots a look of anger at her boss.
Lydia: “You didn't make me do anything, I volunteered.”
Johnny brings his other arm in to complete the hug.
Johnny: “I know. But it was my idea. I'll make it up to you. Especially this next part. Are the near?'
Agent: “Should be soon, yeah.”
Johnny lets go with one arm to fish a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from his pocket. He lights up and hands the pack to Lydia, who helps herself. Moments later, the FBI agent's walkie-talkie crackles to life.
Talkie: “Suspects are approaching the park. Final positions.
Agent: “Well, time to nail the son of a bitch. Clear the scene.”
Johnny and Lydia return to the booth, leaving the area in front clear for a rental car to pull up. Almost before it stops, Stevie Harris is out of the car, already mid rant.
Stevie: “-bowing down in worship to their false gods and idols, ignorant of the fact that I, I am the-
What Stevie is we will never know, as the area suddenly explodes with armed FBI agents. Screams of get on the ground drown out almost all other sounds for the moment as a shocked looking Lola and a defiant Stevie are swarmed by the feds, quickly zip tied and forced into separate cars. A few agents give Lydia the same treatment, taking no care to be gentle, while Johnny yells variations on a theme of fascist at them. Lola notices the arrest, and beings screaming.
Lola: “Lydia! Lydia! Don't let them break you! We'll beat this, with you by our side, we'll-”
Loaded into a car, we no longer hear Lola's ranting, though the fact that she's ranting is clear. In contrast, Stevie just looks around with contempt, hardly seeming to notice the zip ties. He is loaded into the car with out much fuss, head held high, stoic and judgmental. The first two cars pull away, followed by the third with Lydia, though after a moment is circles back and lets her out, zip ties released.
Agent: “There, that should keep any remaining members from guessing the truth. I'm half tempted to bring you in for calling me a, what was it, jackbooted thug wiping his ass with the constitution?”
Johnny: “I added in ugly, and I specified bill of rights. Are we good? Can I take my friend out of this farce, please?”
Agent: “Yeah, fine, just don't leave town, we'll need a deposition.”
Johnny rolls his eyes and begins leading a gently crying Lydia toward the booth.
Johnny: “Come on. We need hot chocolate and make overs. I always feel better with a new look. You can pick my lipstick and eye shadow.”
A small smirk from Lydia.
Lydia: “They aren't going to match. I get that much revenge on you at least.”
While her brave face is an obvious show of force, the smile that slips out from another hug seems genuine enough, and the two disappear inside the booth.
