Character Biography: Lex has worked for many years both as a bare-knuckle boxer and unsanctioned pit fighter in a catch-as-catch-can vale tudo environment. He is a well-rounded striker with a deadly ground and pound game. A former professional wrestler for several years, Lex actually began his training in Chicago back in 2003, honing his skills under the tutelage of Ace Steel. His style is a hybrid of high impact and technical moves and has won him a few championships along the way. He competed briefly in SVW back in 2012, defeating Phobos and cementing his legacy as The Man Without Fear. He also spent 2 years working for FTW in which he rose from the lower roster to Main Event status, challenging for the World Championship in November of 2013. Although he didn't win the match, he went on to enjoy success in PCW, capturing their top title at their Beyond Glory Supershow in mid-November. In April of 2014, Lex returned to SVW programming after having a sneaking suspicion that things in PCW were headed south. This proved to be almost prophetic when PCW closed its doors on May 18, 2014 with the Heavyweight Championship still firmly around Lex's waist. From there Lex moved on to iiW, a promotion that promised big things only to fizzle and fade after a few months. Lex, however, enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top, capturing their top belt in a hellacious contest against Brytain Rollins, Syn and Dexter Jacobs only to lose it a few months later to Syn just hours before the company closed its doors. From there he moved on to Phoenix Wrestling where he seemed to be on the verge of breaking out as a superstar only to have that dream cut short in April of 2015. From there he moved on to Sin City Wrestling, taking the company by storm, racking up an impressive win streak against all of the company's legends. He captured the coveted Vegas Championship and held it for six months only to lose in a match that was not just booked randomly out of the blue, but one in which his opponent completely disrespected him. Now he seeks a company that will serve as a new home... a company in search of the hero he was born to be.

Gimmick: Lex Collins earned each and every ass in the seats that cheers for him the hard way, through blood, sweat and tears while working for Full Throttle Wrestling for 2012-2013. They were there when he finally cracked into the Main Event scene. They were there when he fought back against injustice and insanity. They were there when he competed in a fan-chosen Turkish Death Match against Aornis Black and pounded the Devil's Daughter into hamburger. They were there when he rose up to come within inches of winning the biggest event of the year, only to fall short when Simon Swinger tried to break his arm clean off to get him to let go of the rope. They were 100% behind him when Matt Ford stabbed him in the back, bit his face, and tried to maim him with the World Championship. And when he walked out the door, parting ways with the company, 99% of them followed him. He is a champion for the people, a blue collar hero they never realized they needed until he was there, connecting emotionally each and every night.

The lights dim, and the sound of a heartbeat fills the silence, growing a little louder and faster before being replaced with a driving rock beat. "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against kicks into gear over the arena sound system, getting an ear-splittingly huge pop from the female fans in attendance.

Lex appears at the top of the ramp as orange and red spotlights fade up slowly, like the sun rising to reveal a fire in the sky. He stands with his head bowed and pauses before raising his arms, thrusting them directly into the path of the spotlight as the crowd erupts into cheers yet again. Hesitating for a moment, he adjusts his fight gloves and the tape on his forearms before unzipping his Brutal Apparel hoodie.

He makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with as many fans as he can. Midway down, he stops and shrugs out of the hoodie, whipping it into the crowd. He pauses for a few selfies with fans before hopping up on the apron. Grinning at the crowd, he presses his right fist over his heart to a huge pop before turning and springing over the rope.
