I'd like to preface this by reminding y'all that I'm new to these here parts, and that this is the first show of PAW's that I'm reading in full. That being said, let's see what I get and what soars right over my head. TO READING!
Favorite Character: Lady Munin's dry sarcasm is giving me life, and I'm always gonna be a fan of Nova Wonder. Allie's work with her so far has been awesome, and I see even bigger things in her future. And there's Calvin Harris, whose dasterdly heelishness pleases me--and I can't forget to mention Press's ultraviolence streak. And if I don't stop myself, I'm gonna keep going like an idjit, so... onward!
Favorite Segment: Remind me never to play darts with Press. If he can launch somebody off of a roof and onto an ambulance with such perfect aim... then imagine that he'd do with an easier shot. Second place goes to the line 'Well that wouldn't be covered by our insurance.'
Favorite Match: Nova versus Strick, for sure. The back and forth and the near falls got me but good a couple times-- and even if Nova didn't win like I'd hoped, it was still exceedingly well-written.
Favorite Storyline/Angle: The brewing war--or is it ending? I'm not sure who Champa is in that regard!--between PAW and GZW. I can't wait to see what the retalliation is, not to mention the aftermath. A guy can't just chuck people off buildings without there being consequences, after all.
Score: (1-10): I'd say a solid 8.5, for the reasons below.
Comments: Well for one, I look forward to getting Rach here involved in the madness and insanity and craziness even moreso than I did before. For another? I was pleased with how the storyline advancement was done in a way that made it pretty easy to follow along. I may have missed a couple of the finer details, but it was easy to see who's in a program with who--and that's definitely something I appreciate. The matches were sound from start to finish, and I enjoyed the segments as well. If I had any criticism, it would be that there were some minor punctuation and word choice flubs-- hedonistic instead of hedonist, for example. It didn't take away from things too much, though. Overall, this show was good stuff! ♥

Favorite Character: Many to choose from. Johnny Raike. Johnny takes his beatings like a champ and always comes back for more.
Favorite Segment: Hmmmm. The Box Office with Calvin left many questions as to the nature of his connection to Pixie, and Nomad. Nothing like some hype before the big title fight, and so far this one's shaping up to have a lot of heat.
Favorite Match: Each of them were well done. Zombie versus Collins was a barn-burner. Annabel Lee put on a great debut! Strick and Nova was equally exciting. I think these matches really strive to put the competitors over and play to their strengths. It shows that care is being put into giving all who put in effort their fair shake.
Favorite Storyline/Angle: Curious, will GZW find a way to retalliate or is that the end of it? I may have missed something, but Raike's mysterious "black and white" image from Munin had me curious. And I'm VERY interested in what CJ O'Donnell has up his sleeve and prompted the sudden attacks.
Score: (1-10): 8/10
Comments: Having the privileged vantage point over this federation like I do really makes me appreciate the work that goes into these events. Wins and losses aren't handed out for spite, showings in the matches are designed to give your character fuel, pointers, ideas, or just plain put you over. I like the flow, as always. I'm glad that has been a constant since Wicked 1.
This show received an 8 because it felt light on overall segments. Carried largely by the all-out attack on GZW by the Bombtraxx, I feel like there are things building, but needs more fuel to the fire. Maybe that's me being nitpicky. I do that.
The 8 is all match writing skill :-P. And the segments the show has are pretty wicked.
