Growing up in relatively small city in Quebec, Jenevieve's life was planned out for her before she became a teenager; working her way up the ladder in the family business. But working in the restaurant industry from a teenager to death wasn't something that excited her, nor did the idea of spending the rest of her life in Marieville. Her way out of the life she was destined to live came in the form of Mixed Martial Arts, after stumbling upon a gym by chance one day. After displaying an impressive amataur record, she made her professional fighting debut at the age of 19, winning her first fight via TKO in the second round. Evie left the the world of MMA, boasting a professional record with 5-1, citing a change of career for her reasoning.

Though Evie was not the first fighter in her family, coming from a lineage of professional boxers. Along with running the family business, her grandfather was a renowned name on the Canadian circuit, and her father once showed a promising career before an injury forced his earlier retirement. As a result, fighting has always been instilled in Evie from an early age, and that was especially the case when she fought her way out of her family's plan for her. It was on a trip to a Japanese dojo where Evie fell in love with wrestling. The visit was initially intended to improve her wrestling technique, but the love of the art led to her voluntarily staying, and working, in the dojo in exchange for wrestling training. Though her move to Japan was an immediate thing. Following her departure from MMA, Evie enrolled in a wrestling school in Montreal, not fully prepared to move away from her family. After some convincing, especially from her father, Evie moved to Japan in 2014, where she has lived until she was sent on a North American excursion recently.

After leaving MMA, Evie competed locally in Montreal, relying heavily on her brawling ability and jiu-jitsu. Her first year in wrestling was a slow one, and one that saw little success. With almost a year of training under her belt, Evie started to hone in on her strengths, and started seeing positive results. After finding herself, Evie made the decision to travel to Japan, volunteering in a Dojo in exchange for training and tutelage. As a result of this, Evie/s active competition took a step back, competing in the odd match here and there, as was the dojo's policy. Freshly graduated from the dojo, Evie has been sent on an American excursion to gain some more experience, and to learn some English.

Competing in MMA, and coming from a boxing heritage, Evie is well adversed to the fighting environment. Knowing that each match could make or break her, Evie fights like everyday could be her last. Evie prides herself on being honourable, respectful and serious when it comes to the ring, not wanting to take her position lightly. Money isn't what motivates Evie, neither does the fame and notoriety that could potentially come with the success of her new career. Evie likes to fight – she's a prize fighter – and the thought of possibly returning to Marieville is constantly stuck in the back of her head.

Entrance Music: 'Dust Hymn' by Purity Ring

Entrance Description: The venue darkens slightly as the opening riff to Dust Hymn plays through the speakers. After thirty seconds, when the beat kicks in, Evie emerges from the back with a stern look on her face, looking out into the audience. The crowd respond with a warm reception to her – some cheers, some boos – none of which appear to phase her. Evie makes her way down the aisle and stops as she approaches the ring, before circling it. Hopping up onto the ring apron, Evie enters the ring underneath the middle rope and immediately climbs the nearest turnbuckle, throwing her arms up high in the air. Hopping down, Evie waits patiently in the corner for the match to begin.

In-Ring Strengths: A fighter at heart, Evie is relentless when it comes to taking it to her opponent. This, coupled with her impressive stamina, fairs her well throughout the longevity of a match. Though inexperienced, Evie is constantly watching tape to improve and add different techniques to her arsenal.

In-Ring Weakness: Still relatively new to wrestling, and her inexperience could often lead to mistakes.
