Roscar's Diary 8/19/2016Things aren't going well for me. I've still not gotten my first victory in PAW and all this shit are making me doubt myself and my capabilities. Maybe, I'm not good enough. Maybe, I just can't handle the pressure. Maybe... I have to quit. Who knows, something else may work for me. I may not be destined to wrestle for the rest of my life. Am I another person whose wrestling dream is determined to be a failure? I don't fucking know. Things are getting really complicated, as all these thoughts are drowning me. I'm baffled from all these questions. From last night, when I lost from Black Jack Colter, I can't think straight. Things have gotten way too complex for a guy like me. I have things in my mind, that I can't even explain with my poor english. It's not just anger, or desperation. It's like something killing me from the inside. Something that wants to make my brave heart, which keeps telling me not to give up and to keep fighting, to shut up for ever. I can't tell if it's fear or simple logic. Either way, it's fucking my mind up. I'm afraid that all these shit are gonna make me lose my mind and go nuts. And I certainly don't want this. My mental sanity is important for me, 'cause it's one of the few things I still have. I can't afford losing everything. This morning Wilson called me. He wanted to assure me, that he still believes in me and the contract we have signed is still valid. He said that watching his match, he understood what my problem is. That even if, I'm able to land some punches and I dominate in a point of a match, I don't know how to put an end to a match. And that's what he will teach me how to do. How to be a winner. He might be right. I'll take my chances and honour that contract, I signed last week in our meeting. He promised, a fat paycheck at the end of every month, the best trainer in the whole state and a state of the art gym, where I can train. He also said that he knows the right people who will help me climb to the top and that he's gonna guide me to fame and success. He is a weird man. Extremely wealthy and a little bit scary. Apparently, he was also a wrestler a long time ago, but a severe back injury made him quit. But, I don't know many things about him. Neither his job, nor his real name yeah the Greek God watches Daredevil too. I don't know, why he chose to hide his real name and to say the truth, I don't really care. Lisa still thinks that this is a wrong idea. She says that she has a bad feeling about him and his intentions. And it's true, that he is a shady guy. But, as I said, I'll take this risk. All these losses, made me ready to risk everything in order to succeed. I know Lisa has concerns about Wilson and she cares about me, but I'm a grown man and I can take care of myself. For a day, I questioned my talent in wrestling and my potential, but Wilson is the one who got me back on the right track. And that's fighting. I'm tired. My mind has been fucked up. I'll go to sleep.
Wilson Fisk's House New Orleans, Louisiana 8/30/2016 A luxurious room is shown. Items of untold value are everywhere around the room. Roscar and Wilson Fisk are enjoying both a glass of whisky. They are sitting on a lavish sofa. Camera approaches the two men and when Wilson notices it, he leaves his glass on the coffee table in front of him and says:
Wilson: "Hello people! I don't think you know me, so I should introduce myself to you. My name is Wilson Fisk and I am the new manager of the Greek God Roscar. Last week we came into an agreement and I think that we both made the right choice. No, no... I KNOW it."
Wilson and Roscar smile one at another. Roscar is drinking his whisky calm. He's not looking at the camera and he doesn't seem to even care about the presence of the camera in the room.
Wilson: "Right, when I saw him I saw things, that most of you can't. I saw potential. Potential, which is able to make him the greatest wrestler of our generation. He just needs, some training and the proper guidance, by someone like me. I've been involved with wrestling since I was a little kid. You may say, that I grew up inside the rings. You see, my father was a wrestler and I followed him, but a terrible back-injury made me quit. My stupidity costed me my career. From then, I always watched wrestling, but I never got involved, 'till today. When, I saw Roscar, he reminded of myself."Wilson pauses for a moment. His face becomes white as a sheet. His eyes turn to the floor and he furrows his eyebrows. Then, he shakes his head and looks again straight to the camera. His face turns back to normal.
Wilson: "As I was saying, he is exactly like me. A talented, slightly arrogant and presumptuous young man, ready to succeed no matter what. So now, I'm here to help him do what I didn't manage to achieve. And he's truly a Greek God, but he has yet to reach his full potential and prove this to everyone saying otherwise. But, believe me, I CAN see it. I saw his matches in PAW and I understood something. Even if he knows, how to move inside the ring, how to hurt and butter his opponents, he doesn't know how to be a winner. He's not aware of the art of pinning your opponent. Because, putting an end to a match is something really hard to master. It's not just placing your opponent's shoulders down for 3 seconds. You must know when to do it. Timing is really important if you wanna be a champion. And it's not just that. It's all these small tricks and details, which separate mediocre wrestlers from truly the finest. That's my job, these small details, which can make this guy a true miracle. As Wilson is speaking, Roscar is enjoying his whisky calm and he is sitting back on the sofa listening carefully, Wilson's words. Sometimes, an evil smirk appears on his wooden face. Wilson grabs his glass and takes a sip from his whisky. Then, he lets the glass back on the coffee table, as he lets out an interjection of intense pleasure. Wilson: "His training may take a lot of time ,'till it's over, but I'm more than sure, that these few days we've been training together, will be more than enough for Roscar to represent signs of the new and improved Greek God. So, tomorrow he's facing a young lady named Spencer Thompson. Along with Roscar, we did our research thoroughly in order to avoid any mistakes and omissions, that may prove decisive in this match. But, I think I've talked more than enough and it's time for Roscar to speak for himself and tell us his opinion on his opponent and the match in general. Roscar? "Wilson turns his head to Roscar and nods to him in order to speak. He leaves the whisky glass on the coffee table, whips his long brown hair and that arrogant smirk appears again on his face. At the same time, Wilson takes a big Cuban cigar out of his jacket's pocket, put it in his mouth and lights it up. Roscar: "Spencer Thompson! You know something, she's A LOT LIKE ME. And when I say a lot, I mean it man. She had a bad childhood and she's been through some tough situations just like me. She is the self-proclaimed "God's Gift To Wrestling". That's strange, 'cause I don't remember sending a fucking gift to wrestling EXCEPT ME!" Both men roar with laughter. After a few moments laughing out loud, they both turn back to serious.
Roscar: "I was joking apparently, but it's true that I can't understand how can she calls herself like that, when she's a fucking rookie. I guess will see inside the ring if she's lying or not. The main thing we noticed is that PAW is her first promotion. Everyone can understand that she lacks in ring experience, comparing to me. I'm not a fucking veteran, but I can say that I've fought a lot more matches than her. Certainly, this thing can turn in her favour, 'cause we don't really know her exact wrestling style and she can surprise me. But, this can't change the fact that I weigh 80 fucking libre more than her. She has her problems too, but this doesn't mean that I'm gonna protect her inside the ring. I'm gonna be fierce, brutal. I hope she knows how to take care of herself inside the ring or else things are gonna get ugly. But, I'm sure that since she is signed to PAW, she's competent to wrestle. Anyway, the Greek God Roscar you're gonna see tomorrow is not gonna be the same. You'll see a new and improved Roscar, created from the ashes and broken pieces of the old one, who definitely isn't completely ready yet, as my training is only at its start. But, even at this short time, changes have been made. So, I'm more than ready to step inside the ring and destroy her. As I always say, I'm gonna KICK HER ASS, 'cause truly, that's the only thing I know how to do."The two men look one another with joy, as they know that it's time for Roscar's first fight under Wilson's management. Camera fades out, as the two men sit back in their luxurious sofa enjoying their whisky and sidcussing about Roscar's match.

”I knew moving to Louisiana was going to be different than New York, but I never mguessed it would be this much of a culture shock.” Spencer said with a hint of irritation in her voice.
She was walking with Melody at the local shopping center in Purity. Indeed it was a culture shock, to be so acquainted with the likes of Prada and Versace and now surrounded by Victoria's Secret and American Eagle. Even though she was surrounded by cheap clothes and odd people at least Melody was here. Melody had decided to surprise Spencer with a visit as a gift, considering she had won her official debut at PAW, it was a gift that Spencer welcomed willingly. It was the first time they had seen each other in a month, a meeting that was well overdue for both of them.
”Yeah, it doesn't have the glitz and the glam that New York does, but I've seen plenty worse than here.” Melody replied. ”How's the apartment hunt going?” She said as she inspected some sunglasses on a rack.
”Not the greatest, just to be honest.” she said as she too began to overlook the sunglasses displayed before them.
The money that she had brought with her was depleting faster than she had thought, and if she didn't find a cheaper place to stay she was going to run out, and fast. The money that she made with PAW wasn't the greatest and with a rookie contract she didn't expect a whole lot better. It would only increase after she had gained more fame and more victories like last show. Even then a place in Purity, albeit a lot cheaper than New York, were not in her price range with her current budget.
”What seems to be the issue?”
”Well, most places around here are a little too expensive for me to handle. I'm trying really hard to live off of what I have with me and what I make down here. I’ll find something though, I'm sure of it.” she said with fabricated confidence. Spencer had been searching for nearly two weeks and had come up with nothing and she was soon to give up hope soon.
”Why don't you look for a roommate? I'm sure there are plenty of people around here that are in a similar predicament that you are, most places around here should be affordable with two incomes.” Melody said as she tried on a pair of sunglasses, looked at herself in the mirror and then made a disgusted face before returning them.
The thought had raised itself in Spencer’s mind before, but she didn't want to admit that it was probably the only option she had. Countless searches turned up empty on places she could afford by herself, but with a roommate she could definitely afford the majority of the places she had previously inquired about. ”I’ve thought about that Mel, but I'm not too excited about actually doing it. I don't mix well with others and living with a stranger might be worth more trouble than I want right now.”
”Listen Spencer, you're gonna have to get over that. If you want to meet your goal, you have to make sacrifices. You should know that more than anyone. Now is not the time to be picky, you have a new career that you just started and if you don't give it your all inside and outside the ring, you're never going to succeed.”
Spencer knew she was right, she didn't want to admit it but she did. Melody was always right.
”I’ll start looking for a roommate immediately after the show. Which reminds me, are you gonna be in town long enough to come to the show? I'm sure I can get you some tickets.”
”I’d love to Spence, but my flight leaves out tonight and I have some stuff to take care of back home.” she said and after seeing the saddened look that Spencer made in hearing this said, ”But I can definitely help you come up with a plan to beat this, Roscar guy?”
Immediately a smile was on Spencer’s face, talking match strategies was a sure fire way to break her out of a downed mood.
”He calls himself the Greek Freak, he considers himself to be a ‘God’. He's big and powerful and if I don't play my cards right, he could take me out very quickly. He has a false sense of security though, he thinks he's indestructible. Much like the Greek hero Achilles, he has a weak spot that he doesn't know of, yet. I'm going to show it to him, it won't take a poisoned arrow to bring this ‘God’ down.” she spat out excitedly.
”Oh really? Do tell what his weakness is.” Melody said with a half chuckle.
”It's simple really, it's speed. He's big, that much is certain, but he's slow. All I have to do is stay out of his grasp and catch him off guard and it's lights out. I’ll have to settle for nothing but strikes in this match, but I know it'll be enough to get the job done.”
”Seems like you have it all figured out then, looks like you don't need my help anymore after all.”
”It was your help that made me able to analyze my opponents the way I do Mel. I wouldn't be where I am without you.”
”Oh I know, you'd still be a waitress if it wasn't for me. I'll accept a payment of dinner for teaching you everything.” she said with a smile and a wink. Spencer returned the smile as they proceeded to the food court.
