The moment that Bad Moon Rising had ended. Calvin had decided he was done. Now what “done” meant was up in the air. He had refused to tell Alessandra (Nova Wonder) what he meant. In fact he refused to talk about anything involving the match at all once everything had come to an end. Now the thing he had tried to do was get on the first flight to Chicago. He had no intentions of going home to Seattle with Alessandra or her daughter: VP. Something that would have surely broke the near three year old’s heart to know the man she was now calling “Daddy” wasn’t going to come home with her. As a matter of fact Nova crawled all up and down his ass for him even trying to do something like that. To which caused Calvin to break down and make the decision to go back to Seattle. However in having a few days pass nothing had changed with his mindset.
In his mind he was still very much “done” with the whole situation. As far as Calvin was concerned there was no excuse for why he didn’t leave with that PAW Heavyweight Championship. He did everything that he could to see to it that he won. He did managed to stay one step ahead of Press going into their bout. He took advantage by announcing the special stipulation which was the electrical steel cage. He had the numbers game in his favor. Calvin did everything to make sure that there was nothing that would go wrong at Bad Moon Rising. Then sure enough everything did go wrong when he didn’t leave with the PAW Heavyweight Championship. He was so-close. So very-very close and then just like that it was all ripped away from him. Calvin found himself just sitting there on the couch in the living room. Glaring at the wall and stewing over what had taken place.
His eyes were heavily set on that wall. Then all of the sudden out of nowhere. A loud booming voice - one that he had heard before echoed throughout the entire living room. “Again Calvin? You let it slip through your fingers again?” Hearing that voice quickly grabbed the attention of the Chicago native. His eyes snapped off the wall and started to look around the room. There wasn’t a single soul in sight. His eyes were narrowing a little bit in irritation as he continued to look around. Then again out of nowhere that voice was heard. “You carry the last name Harris. A name that is a legacy and you cannot get the job done?!” The expression on Calvin’s face was intensifying after hearing those words. He shoved himself out of the spot on the couch and started to really search around the room.
CALVIN HARRIS: Who the hell is that?!
He shouted at the top of his lungs in that fit of rage. By now Calvin was starting to look all around the room. Looking behind one of the chairs set up in the corner. He peeked around the corner to where a set of steps lead to the second story of the home. He went as far as opening the closet door by the front door. Slamming the door shut in frustration. He found himself shouting at the top of his lungs once again.
CALVIN HARRIS: Show yourself coward!
Standing in the middle of the living room Calvin continued to look around the living room. Waiting for someone to pop out and yet no one did. His hands started to run through his long jet black hair and pull on it in a frustrated manner. It felt like he was starting to lose his mind. At least until that voice was heard once again further proving that he wasn’t hearing things. “This was all your fault. You had that championship in your hand. You had Press beat. And then you dropped the ball!” That voice was ringing through Calvin’s ears. It might have proven that he wasn’t hearing things, but it certainly didn’t prove that he wasn’t losing his mind. That was finally enough to push him over the edge. He pulled on his hair rough, fell to his knees, and yelled out.
CALVIN HARRIS: FUCK YOU!
His voice echoed throughout the entire living room. Only for that brief second until he heard another voice. One that was just as familiar but was a completely different voice. “Uck Yew!” Calvin’s head snapped in the direction where the voice where the voice had come from. His eyes were met by the big ones of the near three year old: VP. She was in tow with mother after a recent trip to the store. Calvin’s eyes shifted from the innocent child who had just copied his bad habit and allowed his eyes to move up to Alessandra’s. Her eyes narrowed in a pretty hateful manner.
NOVA WONDER: Nice, real nice!
Her eyes stayed pretty narrowed in her direction. She had every right in the world to be mad at him for cursing in front of VP. Granted he didn’t know that she was going to walk in the door. Yet living in a home where a child was presented. Calvin should have known better. His mental health was really starting to take a hint from everything as he just lowered his head down to the floor and shook his head.
CALVIN HARRIS: Ahhhhh!
A loud scream of frustration escaped his lips as he slammed his hand down on the floor. That single loss at Bad Moon Rising was forcing everything to spiral out of control. It was making him lose his mind. It was making him want to give up. And even though he wouldn't admit it out loud to anyone else. That loss at Bad Moon Rising was truly making Calvin feel like it was time to quit professional wrestling. At twenty seven years old there was the consideration of quitting and leaving behind the one thing that he had always wanted since he was a child. He was trying to push himself up but he was quickly met with the tiny arms of VP wrapping around his neck. She did her best to pull him towards him while attempting to latch on with a hug as strong as her tiny body would allow her. Calvin had no choice but to wrap his arms around her tiny waist holding on tightly as he stood up with her in his right arm. At least there was someone around to try and make it all better. Thing was it was unclear if it was actually going to get better.
