Character Biography:
While that mask is present, should you meet Deus, there is no reason to believe there’s a human being you can reason with dwelling there. Deus is a secret, a riddle, an enigma, and most importantly an engine of chaos. Deus takes perverse pleasure in knowing what you don’t. The goal is unbridled, furious revenge. The original vendetta was never sated, so this time around, with its targets in sight, there’s no telling what ends Deus will go to satisfy its need for its sense of justice and vengeance.
It’s worse if Deus is being friendly, for “keep your friends close, and enemies even closer” applies. Deus is without moral, and sees no limit to “itself”, therefore Deus is not above killing outright, it has in the past, and does not fear reprisal. Deus is always intentional. If Deus speaks, it’s for a purpose.
In the off chance that mask does come off for whatever reason… All that’s written goes out the window. Cue walking contradiction. There’s no telling what’s underneath. The mask itself is power, is persona, is the idea of vengeance.
Career History: What is known is that years ago a wrestler named Heaven competed on a global stage. She was talented, highly trained, beautiful and charismatic. Until she squared off against a wrestler calling himself the Sociopath and all that changed. Unspeakable violence was inflicted on that woman in the ring to the point of a live humiliation in-ring and subsequent disappearance from the public eye.
Deus arrived months later. A masked monster bent on fulfilling a mysterious vendetta seemingly against the sport of wrestling itself. No one really knew who or what it was, just that it arrived in Evolution Wrestling and carved a swathe of damage, torture, murder and intimidation through the federation inspiring countless followers to don a mask similar to Deus’ and form a celebratory cult of personality around the masked figure until the mask finally came off revealing the wrestler, Heaven, beneath. With jaws sufficiently dropped and stunned, Heaven was brought before police to answer for Deus' crimes.
Heaven beat the rap.
And soon was wrestling as Deus once more, this time for the Evolution Heavyweight title. A match in which she lost, and subsequently suffered a brutal attack at the hands of the newly arrived Bombtrax.
Heaven/Deus disappeared afterward never to be heard from again.
Until now, it would seem.
Gimmick: Deus is the living embodiment of blind rage and focused resentment. Deus perceives its body as an instrument, energy is rarely wasted, anger is fuel deceptively contained. Deus is calm by default, almost genial and conversational, but with the hint of seething fury always writhing beneath the surface of every second you spend in "its" presence.

With the pulses happening, it’s easy to see there’s no one standing at the top of the ramp. This goes on into the chorus of the song, the lights rising to reveal Deus standing nonchalantly in the ring behind Rhonda Armstrong. Sufficiently disturbed, Rhonda finishes sheepishly…

The Mask and Attire add to durability/defense, and similarly in the case of the mask can be used as a weapon - Headbutts.
In-Ring Weakness:
Diminutive height and short reach limit range and ability against larger opponents.
Cheater - Easily Disqualified
Confusing Goals - Not always oriented towards winning a match, or beating an opponent.
Rage is blinding – Depends on the opponent, but there are some who have Deus’ ire.
The Mask – In the past the mask itself proved to be a weakness. If removed, it’s difficult to say what the outcome would be. (Not really an option story-wise, yet.)
The Attire/Mask make longevity in a match a risky proposition. (It’s damn hot in fully enclosed suits, and damn exhausting flying around like a monkey as Deus does so…) long haul matches aren’t ideal.
