As some of our readers may be aware, today was the 28th birthday of PAW competitor, Kelsey Spencer. A party was said to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana to mark the event - however, things didn't quite go according to plan. An eyewitness video has surfaced online from earlier today.
The video was taken by a party-goer on their phone, and shows Kelsey Spencer and Summer arguing at Spencer’s birthday celebration. There are conflicting reports of how the argument started, but it's believed Summer showed up at the party unannounced, distressing most of the guests. Witnesses claim that Spencer invited Summer to stay at the party, to which it’s believed Summer made an inappropriate comment about one of Spencer’s friends.
The footage shows the two bickering, and the verbal confrontation quickly becomes physical as stunned witnesses look on. Summer pushes Spencer into a table that’s supporting much of the party’s food - including Spencer’s birthday cake. The table gives way as Spencer goes down, covered in what remains of the cake while Summer is removed from the venue. The footage cuts out a short time after.
Long after the dust had settled, we managed to catch up with several individuals outside the venue to get their take on what happened.
“She just walked in and went right up to Kelsey,” one witness recalled the events. “They were talking and the next thing I know, they’re throwing punches.”
“I don’t know who that Summer girl thinks she is, but that was way out of line!” exclaimed one of Spencer’s friends, who witnessed the brawl.
It's believed that Spencer suffered nothing but a few bumps and bruises, and no charges were pressed against Summer. The two ladies are working through personal issues, stemming from a match the pair had a number of weeks ago where Summer busted Spencer open, resulting in four staples to close the wound. Summer will act as special guest referee for Kelsey Spencer’s upcoming match on Wicked.
